Schedule
Breakfast is Served 6:00am to 7:30am
Preschool is 9:00am to 11:00am
Lunch is served at 11:30am
Nap/rest time is after lunch until 2:30pm
Afternoon Snack is served at 3:00pm
Our Typical Day will include most of the following:
Circle Time - a variety of songs, finger play, introduction
to readiness skills, and group discussion.
Art and/or Writing Activity - Emphasis on small muscle
coordination
Movement - Music, exercise, and cooperative games with
emphasis on large muscle coordination and gross motor
skills
Storytime - Following a story line for enjoyment as well as
sharpening listening skills, posing questions, sequencing
events, and predicting outcomes.
Freeplay - A choice of toys and playmates; your child may
choose from either individual or group play.
Center - Children are paired together to do a 20 minute
activity. Centers are grouped into 2 - 20 minute activities.
**Infants may not be able to actively participate, but by
watching what the other children are doing, they are
learning these skills as well.**
